Commissions, Adoptables, and OC Appearances

Terms and Important Information

For Commissions...

The buyer will receive a flat-colored artwork featuring the character(s) they request via email. Commissions do not have to be Wishes of the Altar themed at all. They can be themed after anything object-show related, including your OCs or other object shows. Yes I'll draw your Objectified OCs or whatever

Art commissions will be returned within 1-7 days, while mini-comics could take anywhere from 1-6 weeks, depending on length and our schedule.

We do not currently accept refunds except in the case that we don't correctly receive specifics for the commission / we cannot find an avenue of communication with the commissioner. To ensure you receive your art, please clearly state your preferred form of communication and check it consistently.

For Adoptables...

The buyer will receive a reference image of the character, a more detailed drawing of the character, and cast page art for the character, as well as access to the upcoming episode of the webcomic.

You are allowed to change the character's design or theriantype.

You are not required to keep the character as a Wishes of the Altar character, and you may change them to a general OC.

We do not, however, allow you to attach the character to another existing property (unless it is your own).

For example, you can use the character in your own object show, but not designate them as an OC for an object show (other than Wishes of the Altar) which you did not make.

You are allowed to trade, but not resell the character.

While PayPal requires billing information (address, full name) to make the purchase, this is done for legal reasons only, we don't have a choice, and we cannot view or access this information in any way at any time.

We use a third-party to handle this, which means any personal information PayPal holds about you is never seen by us and any personal information PayPal holds about us and shows you is not actually any Wishes of the Altar crew member's (including Composite) personal information.

While PayPal handles the transaction, you do not need to have a PayPal account or be of age to have an account to purchase from us.

Gradation Shading ($6+)

Comic Commissions

Simple ($15.00 per page)

One page of a simple comic. Featuring Strawberry and Holly between Happy Rebirthday and Parallel.

Detailed ($25.00 per page)

Episode 19, page 2, for example. Episode 16, page 6, for example.

Adoptables

These characters can be purchased for their listed value or equivalent in another currency.

If a character is 'listed by' a crew member other than Composite, they will receive the entire profit margin from the sale.

OC Appearances

Do you want your OC to appear in the background or as a speaking character in an episode of Wishes of the Altar?

You can purchase this on our Ko-Fi - and see your character appear in just 2-8 weeks (1-4 episodes).

Background Appearance

For $5.99 USD, your character will appear in the background of an episode (in standard detail).

Your character will appear in 0-4 weeks.

Speaking Appearance

For $11.99 USD, your character will appear with a speaking role in an episode, across multiple panels.

Due to the nature of this story, there is a chance your character may die. Please specify if you do not want this to occur, and we won't kill them.

Your character will appear in 6-8 weeks.

Please note that your character's appearance may be delayed for a multitude of reasons, such as an episode being too story-focused to include another speaking character in. We guarantee that they will appear in any case.

Instructions

Use the button below to purchase an "OC Appearance" from our Ko-Fi, making sure to tick the 'Speaking character' add-on if wanted. Make sure to attach an image of your character, as well as any important information about them.

(Note: certain requests for what the character should do in the episode may not be fulfilled if they don't fit the story. Be aware they will appear anyway.)
