As a hypertherian object, Yarn is prone to illness and physical incapacitation. She, however, strives to keep a close relationship with her sweet, yet energetic, partner, Cable, for as long as she can -- her rough and rowdy personality combined with her size and strength allow her to defend them from trouble. Yarn's actions are driven by her knowledge that they and Cable cannot both win.
