Episode 33 : Eternal Gratitude

Chester Cliff and Lammie can be seen standing next to each other.
Black screen.
The Harbinger of Fate stares down, sweating, and asks "So you DO understand?!"
Malachi stares up and asks "What... what do I need to do?" The Harbinger of Fate wraps an arm around them and says "Aooh, that's the spirit! Now, have you an inkling what the 'altar' would be?" Malachi wondering how they got smaller to hug them replies "Um, no."
The Harbinger of Fate says to them "Imagine this. Deep, deep, underground..."
"There lies a big bundle of rocks. Not just any rocks, though. The same magic rocks that give this very island its... arcane properties. The altar was made to grant wishes, the same way angels can manipulate our world with their energy. But, though it tears on the soul, for the most part it didn't work."
Malachi asks "Is that what you sneak into my dreams and make me meet you here for?" The Harbinger of Fate responds "When you come close to this dark aether, it'll cruelly show you the thing you desire the most. It would seem its wish-granting property began to leak through, just not enough." Malachi asks "Why are you telling me this? What do you need me for?"
They respond "The Queen, you know her, your parents were best friends with her. She really wants the Altar's power too... So she had her scientists figure out what was wrong with it. As it would turn out, it's protected by some sort of soul-bound! Every last living person weakens its strength." Malachi shouts "What so the only way to use it is if everyone DIES?! What wish could be worth THAT? What is this?!"
They say "Ah-ah-ah! I never said anything like that! Look, you trust me dearly, don't you, my little knight?" Malachi responds "Um. I... I guess I've grown to... I just I'm not completely sure-" They respond "GREAT! Look, it's getting real dark out, isn't it? Go tell your folks you're not dead. I'll give you those orders later." Malachi mutters "...Okay," and turns to walk away as the Harbinger of Fate's body begins to drip.
Malachi walks through the dark forest. They turn as they see paws reaching for them.
Malachi is tackled to the ground by Lammie who barks. Malachi mutters "Owww... Lammie..." Cliff says "Wow you're out LATE." Malachi mutters "I got caught up in... water." Chester says "Tetsuya sent us. If you keep disappearing she won't let you out anymore." Malachi mutters "Oh."
Lammie shouts "Yeah we miss you!" and barks. Later Tetsuya says " Malachi. I sent Lammie Chester and Cliff to find you two hours ago. Where have you BEEN?"
Malachi says "Sorry mama..." Gio asks "Where'd you uh go?" Malachi says "Uh."
Malachi continues "Promise not to get mad?" The Harbinger of Fate, watching, says to themself "YOU'RE KIDDING! THIS BRAT...! SILENCE!"
