Avery and Lance upon hearing "last object standing" are alarmed and confused. They glance over at Lora's body.
Avery stands over her sister's shattered corpse in silence and thinks "This is real. This is all... really happening." She later goes to Lance's house.
At Lance's house Avery is curled up in a blanket unable to sleep and shivering in distress. She pulls the blanket closer to her and hides away.
Avery remembers something from a long time ago. She plays with her sister on a playground giggling and chasing her around. Avery climbs up a slide while following Lora and say "I'm gonna get you!"
Avery pushes Lora down the slide and Lora yells "Weeeeeee!" Avery scared goess down to check on her sister but Lora is giggling. Avery comes back to reality to see herself over Lora's body again.
Avery thrashes and sobs while curled in her blanket. She remembers something from a longer time ago. Avery is playing tag with Lora saying "Tag! You're it!"
Lora says "Nuh uh!" and Avery yells "Hey!!" before Lora closes the door. Avery reaches to open the door.
Lora is behind the door giggling. Avery recalls Lora's corpse once more and cries out in anguish for it to stop. The next morning Avery sobs over Lora's remains once again.
Avery in tears says to herself "Who could help me? Who knows me... like I do?" She falls down and continues "Who know you like I did?" Later she tries to leave a voicemail for Lance.
Later Lance pushes open Avery's door. He comforts her as she lays on the floor tearing up as he reminisces about Lora.
In the present Lance lays next to Avery ass she tries to sleep. He ponders in sadness as Avery puts an arm around him.
Lance thinks to himself "Maybe it's all just a nightmare. Maybe she's still alive and we don't have to..."
Lance lies awake an hour later. He runs to lock all of the doors and windows. He thinks to himself again "That's not true is it. This is real."
Lance remembers spending time with Lora on the swings.
Lance wakes up shaky and nervous. He stares at an open window with an orange sky and thinks to himself "I left that one open... but we're okay. For now."
Lance shuts the window he was staring at. Meanwhile Avery sobs as she holds a lighter and a joint.
Lance slaps the lighter out of Avery's hand and in anger yells "You can't have that! You're nineteen! And that was homegrown!"
