Monroe and Abraham breathe heavily while running. Monroe groans as they climb up a steep hill. When they make it to the top Monroe says "Ooh... a campsite. In front of them is an abandoned tent with two backpack against it.
Abraham checks one of the backpacks and says "They probably kept their food in the tent. If they left us any. Which... I'd be shocked." Monroe checks the other bag and mutters "Oh hmm..." as he pulls a small knife from the backpack.
Monroe takes the knife and absorbs it into his arm. Meanwhile Abraham says "These are all so damn hard to get through!" as he struggles with his backpack and huffs hot air.
As wolves howl Abraham calls out "Yo Monroe we gotta get out of here." Monroe however is preoccupied staring at firefly-like feral objects.
Abraham says "Hey Monroe! Hurry it up! I hear wolves!" Monroe wanders over and mutters "Ooh... okay..." Abraham says "You sound half asleep" to which Monroe responds "I got distracted..." Monroe continues "It's scary in there..." and Abraham responds "Yeah sounds about right but be brave man. Don't act like we don't live here."
Monroe continues "I really do think we should settle somewhere. When was the last time you or I slept in a bed? It's gonna get too dangerous to live like that I think." Abraham replies "Probably uh when Sora 'repurposed' all the shelters in the Crescent." Abraham then slashes through brush with his claws.
Abraham continues "Anyway unless your dad uh worked at the Sora mattress factory..." Monroe interrupted "I'm not super sure where he worked... but I don't think they have those. Abraham's eyes focus as he notices too late that a painting object is ambushing them. It roars as it leaps out of the brush.
The object pounces on Abraham and he yells "OH FUCK! MONROE!" Monroe rushes in swinging with his knife and yells "H-HEY! GET OFF OF HIM!" The object pants.
As the object flees Monroe says "You said wolves not bears" to which Abraham mutters "Dude." Monroe stammers "I'm just saying!" Abraham flies into the air with dragon wings and calls out "Hey the rest of you freaks!" Fire gathers at his mouth.
Abraham yells "GET OUT OF OUR WAY!" as he breathes fire on the landscape ahead. Monroe looks on.
Later the two are in a building. Monroe says "All I ever heard about this place from my dad was that the pay sucked. Otherwise I woulda..." Abraham cuts him off with "We have literally zero food dude. What do we do next."
Black screen.
In the Sora Palace laboratory ten years ago Peridot stammers in despair "I-I have a kid I can't be here I have a... They're just nineteen, they-they need me, I can't be here!" Madeline scoffs and responds "You angels can't have KIDS. You just make robots." Peridot responds "They're like a kid, to me."
Madeline stares at Peridot for a few moments before Peridot tries to transform into an angel. Madeline is scared for a second before she hears "Calibration complete. Energy contained." Madeline collapses to the floor and mutters "It worked. Thank fuck."
