Kate flies through Sora Palace making it to the city and perching on a flagpost at night. She thinks to herself "I'm... alive?"
Kate continues to think "Well of course I am. I always come back... but I'm-" She suddenly stares in horror as she sees Willa swinging a sword at a figure shrouded in darkness.
Kate watches as two swords clash against each other. Willa is pushed down to the ground and she exclaims "Agh! You! I'm not afraid of you!" The figure stands above her.
The figure raises its sword.
Willa screams "You know I'll come back!" Kate watching from the bushes swoops in towards the two. The figure is surprised.
Kate picks up Willa and she says "Huh? Kate?!" She stares up in fear of Kate.
With one claw Kate slashes at Willa killing her. Her object falls to the floor and her limbs fall into a puddle. Kate breaths for a second before saying to the shrouded figure "You... I don't know why you're... whatever."
Kate thinks to herself "She's not my problem. I need to eat. As long as it's been having to eat this does not get better." Kate scoops Willa's liquefied limbs from the ground and hesitantly begins to eat it.
Kate leaves the scene and thinks to herself "I'm alive and I'm free but... why? How? I killed her? She'll come back sure but am I free now? Is it over?" Kate sees an open dumpster and digs into it.
Kate pulls Gloomy from out of the trash and says "Oh. It's you." He murmurs "Hiiii." Kate throws him back in the dumpster.
Gloomy is seen following Kate. She thinks "You again?" as Gloomy says "So um. What's your name ma'am?" Kate smiles and says "My name is Deez." Gloomy responds "Deez what ma'am?" Montag is seen noticing the two.
