"It's raining somewhere else."

A deer therian lollipop object faces the viewer, then looks away. Her face can be seen, shattered. Darkness rises from the ground.
A small black lamp object splashes into water.
As the lamp object sinks it can only see its hands which are made of static. The water gets darker and darker as a set of sharp teeth emerge from the abyss to attack it.
Cut to black.
A blue paintbrush object is holding the same lamp object now with a star-like shape replacing its right eye. The blue paintbrush says to a red paintbrush "I found this kid in the ocean." to which the red one asks "What so you just took them? What if they live their life there Jessie?" Jessie responds "They were drowning Rosa! I didn't just want them to die!" Rosa replies "They're waking up." The lamp object stretches as it wakes up, and Jessie puts it down. Jessie frantically asks "Kid! Are you from the water?!" Rosa unenthusiastically asks "Yeah... Where do you go." The lamp object responds "I'm Malachi Mythesko. I'm nine years old. I'm from Ring Pop Rivers. I'm a girl but I want you to call me they. But most people call me Shine."
Rosa says "Yeah, RPR. The ocean." Jessie worried responds "My. Well it does depend. If they're from Rapid Oceans yes but in Marble-" Shine says "I'm from Aquarch." and the two paintbrush objects look at each other in abject terror. Shine continues "I was um a princess in Aquarch." Tears stream down Rosa's face as they yell "Aquarch's royal family is brutal! We're finished when they start looking for them!" Shine responds "Oh they aren't looking. They sent me away on purpose." to which Rosa looks nervously.
Jessie picks up Shine as they ask Rosa "Well we should ask Tetsuya what to do about they should we not?" Loud thuds can be heard and Shine asks "Aah! Who's... Tetsuya?!"
A green paintbrush and a yellow paintbrush are seen with a string of saliva between their mouths. A huge purple paintbrush object with wings approaches and says "I'm Tetsuya. I am the pack leader. These are my mates Jessie and Rosa. We are also mated with Kessel (whose name is orange) as well as Gio (the green one) and Rousseau (the yellow one) who are... kissing behind that log. Together our children are Lammie (whose name is gray) Chester (whose name is lighter green) and Cliff (whose name is purple)." Shine stares in fear.
Shine asks "So... you're a pack... and you're all one big family? That's normal? I learned object packs are usually two to four families." Rousseau responds "Eh, it ain't exactly normal. But do we look normal?" Shine asks "And you're all the same object? That must be really lucky..." Rousseau responds "Well certain combinations of traits produce the same object consistently. All of our parents are different and have way different objects but we're all brushes. They call it convergent objects. All packs are like that actually. I'm shocked you didn't know. Well you come from Aquarch. The only pack you would've seen is that pack of fifteen flower girl sisters. Oh or the milkshakes."
Gio says "There was that uh paint palette lady who had like twenty paintbrush kids in the city. Maybe Shine's seen one of them before." Rosseau argues "Those guys look way different from us! Shine may not even recognize them as paintbrushes! So one way or another, they wouldn't get-" Gio butts in "That's enough talking Rousseau." Kessel who has several eyes and bug features says loudly "Aaaawwww! Look at how cute you are! Tetsuya! Can we keep them!" Tetsuya now without wings or digitigrade legs says "Fine. But only because they'll die out here and don't seem against it. Kessel Rosa Jessie go get our kids and tell them what's up."
Shine also known as Malachi they/them pronouns is now nineteen years old. They are outlined on a dark background. Tetsuya tells them "Do not get in trouble." Jessie says "See you soon baby!" Gio says "Don't get hurt out there."
Shine says to an unseen individual "Okay you called me what do you need? They respond "You miss Onyx and Lydia don't you?" Shine responds "Of course I do. Every day. You... You can't do anything about that can you?"
The figure answers "I have some orders for you Malachi. Follow them... and you'll get to be with your new parents and siblings. But your sisters... will be there with you as well. Mal. How does that sound? What do you think of that?" Shine responds "Any, anything you ask."
