Monroe is on the ground sweating and weak. He thinks to himself "It hadn't set in until now but I'm getting really hungry." He walks over to Abraham and tugs at him. He pleads "Baby..." Abraham says "Don't call me that man!" Monroe continues "I wanna go eat!"
Monroe pesters Abraham as the latter looks outside the door of the building they are in. Monroe asks "What are you looking for? to which Abraham responds "I'm looking for some sucker alright. Someone we can like handle man."
Monroe asks "Woah we're gonna steal? I don't really think that's a good idea." Abraham responds "Yo we ain't stealing nothing alright? Nothing that ain't like ours already man." As Abraham pushes a door open to reveal a feral cookie object Monroe mutters "There is no way you mean what I think you mean."
Abraham chuckles "For real man? Outta all the objects it coulda been it's a cookie? Yo that's perfect." Monroe covers his mouth and asks "You're not seriously suggesting we eat an object." Abraham responds "Look dude I'm just saying it alright? And we like... we gotta man. No choice." Monroe reasons "We live in a mattress factory. Why don't we I don't know trade bedding for food?"
Abraham continues "Ain't nobody out there got food without a house Monroe. And us? We ain't eaten in days man." Fern who looks sick mutters "Is it bad if my morals only extend to raiding abandoned campsites?" and Abraham responds "Look dude I swear I wouldn't put this on you if there was like any other way yo. Now come on let's get a bite to eat." Suddenly the cookie object screeches and Abraham exclaims "Son of a bitch!"
As Abraham quickly switches to therian form and flies up holding Monroe the latter yells "Careful!!" Abraham asks "Shit. Ready?" Monroe shouts "No! I want to get off! I want to get off! Please!" Abraham flings Monroe down towards the cookie object and Monroe swings wildly at it with a knife as he falls down.
From Monroe's attack the cookie object crumbles, dead. Monroe slowly floats to the ground.
Abraham shouts "Yeah bitch!! Come on baby come on!!!" Monroe looks guilty but Abraham switches back to standard form and says "Woo man! Give me five!!" Monroe glances nervously at him before turning towards him.
Abraham and Monroe's hands meet in a high five. As the two men stand in front of the shattered cookie Abraham says "Heh good job dude. We had to get dirty for real but look at us man. We earned this." Monroe simply responds "Mmm..."
Monroe stuffs the remains of the object into the purple backpack they obtained from the campsite and mutters "A big bag with one cookie in it. Big enough to last a few days." He wonders why it was so hard for him to pull his hand out but is interrupted by Abraham saying "Yo man. It feels so damn good to finally eat after all this time dude. I'm... I'm serious." Monroe responds "Come here and get a bite sweetheart. You earned that."
As Monroe is reaching into the purple backpack something tugs at him from inside. Monroe yelps "Abraham?!" Arms reach for Monroe's and as they reach up to him he screams.
Abraham in his therian form asks "What?! What is it?!" Monroe cowering mutters "I swear to you I saw that cookie trying to climb me out of that backpack." Abraham mutters "Let me look" and empties the backpack to find nothing except the cookie there. He says "Hey yo dude chill! There's nada in here. Must be that guilt from you know killing him or something. All the chunks fell out man. It's fine alright? Chill."
Later Monroe and Abraham are eating the cookie in silence. Monroe is sitting against a wall while Abraham looks angry and wears the purple backpack.
Monroe thinks to himself "I feel like you're changing... You seem obsessed." Several feral food objects are seen making threatening noises. Later a cute bunny object can be seen in the woods. Monroe says "Aww this one's a cutie!!"
Abraham wearing the purple backpack looks at it and says "Yeah totally," but then finds himself not in control of his body. He thinks to himself "Why can't I move. Why can't I control myself?!" The bunny object looks in fear and runs away and Monroe says "Honey don't mind it. We can't eat that one."
Abraham can only think "Why can't I stop this?!" His flames shoot towards the feral object.
Abraham kneels over the puddle that was the feral object. Monroe mutters "Why did you... Why did you do that? You can't even eat that..." Abraham stutters "Yo I- I don't know man. This kind of a like a possession or whatever hit me. I wanted to stop. I... I did. I did." Monroe does not know whether to say "Just fucking listen to me" "The backpack is evil" or "It's a delirious episode" but he says "We should... We should go back. And come up with a new plan to find food. The- The ferals aren't working. Abraham tosses the purple backpack on the ground and responds "Yo you're you're right man. I don't even know why the government made th- those or why they tried to replace all the animals with them. I just I- I can't... I don't..."
Monroe hugs Abraham.
