Episode 21 : All-Nighter

Mother's Day | Ft. Strawberry and Holly
"Bathed in love."

Gloomy is walking around the city calling out for Kate. He picks up a piece of paper and says "Maybe she's hiding under here?" When he lifts up the paper though he says "Oh... I guess not."
Gloomy notices a clicking noise and says "Oooh, what's that?" He looks up to see Kate echolocating atop a pole and says to himself "Oooh, why didn't I look up there before?" He puts his hands onto the pole attempting to climb and calls out "Stop running away buddy! I wanna hang out with you!!!"
As Gloomy calls out for her, Kate says to herself "Is this kid stupid?" She swoops down from atop the pole and Gloomy who fell off of the pole says "There you are!!! You're so very sweet for coming down for me!!!"
Kate says to Gloomy "Didn't anyone ever teach you to stay away from dangerous people like me?" Gloomy responds "You're not dangerous... and I'm all alone without you..." Kate turns away from him and says "Don't say that. What are you, twelve? Go find your mommy or whatever you told that lawyer about."
Gloomy says "But I told you my mama knows I'm evil and she's not coming back!" Kate mutters "You didn't say that to me... and is chasing people down just in your nature then?" Gloomy comments "You sound a lot like her" to which Kate shouts "I AM NO LOCKE." She looks hesitantly and mutters "Hm."
Kate continues "Not that I was paying any real attention but I heard you say your mom is a Locke and I'm not interested." Gloomy asks "But why? What's wrong?" Kate thinks to herself "He's fucking stupid. And naive. And... looks tasty." She then says "Don't poke your nose where it doesn't belong kid. I'll let you stay with me if you keep me fed."
Gloomy exclaims "I live in Sora Palace! There's so much food at my place!" Grinning to herself Kate thinks "SHE'S SO STUPID." Gloomy says "Follow me!" and Kate says "Lead the way." Later, a marker can be seen writing "Willa" over and over on a mirror.
As the sound of a bathtub's tap runs a mirror can be seen broken and scribbled on in a bathroom. Gloomy says "There... now I don't have to see my own face anymore! That should make you happy!" Kate sitting in a bathtub next to walls with drawings of Gloomy and Willa all over there thinks to herself "This guy is so goddamn WEIRD."
Gloomy steps into the bath with Kate and sits down with a smile. He says to her "You're really cold you know that?" She responds "Physically or emotionally?"
Gloomy says "Your body I mean..." Holly says "Well that's why I'm in your bath weirdo." He replies "Mmm... When you get hungry... you can get whatever from the kitchen." Later Gloomy is seen sleeping in bed.
Kate is seen sleeping upside down on the ceiling. The next day, a ding can be heard as Gloomy and Kate step out of an elevator. Gloomy says "It's okay I know how to drive. So this is Sora Palace. Kate thinks to herself "...take the wheel." Gloomy continues "This is residencies. I like to go to the food court sometimes. But we're going to the laboratory." Kate thinks to herself again "Do you ever think you've said enough?"
Kate thinks "Don't like being here at all" as Gloomy walks into the laboratory and says "So over here there should be... Yes!! A portrait of my mama!!!" He pulls a picture of Willa off of the wall shows it to Kate and asks "Isn't she soooo pretty! She's the sweetest mama in the whole wide world!"
Kate looks at the image in horror. A flashback can be seen of Willa standing over a hydraulic machine. A vent sits above her.
Kate sweating looks away from Gloomy who asks "Holly!!! What's the matter!!!" Kate quickly runs away as Gloomy calls her name. As she runs to the respawn ward, Gloomy says "Don't run away again!!! Please!!!"
Kate runs to a respawning machine and sees Willa Locke and Caine Locke in the most recent revivals. She stares in terror and thinks to herself "IT IS YOU."
Kate collapses in front of Gloomy. Kate later wakes up gasping in Gloomy's bed.
Kate hears her name being called. She jumps out of bed and yells "no NO DON'T. DON'T DON'T TOUCH ME. I DON'T WANT TO DO ANY MORE EXPERIMENTS I DON'T."
She mutters "please. please. i don't want to go to hydraulics again. i'm sorry. i'm sorry. we can do another experiment. I'm sorry." Gloomy standing in front of her says "What experiments, Holly? What do you mean?! I don't know what's wrong!" Kate pictures a lab around her for a moment before saying "STRAWBERRY." Gloomy stands in front of her.
Kate goes up to Gloomy and mutters "Do you remember when I said you'd have to keep me fed?" Gloomy says "Mmhm..." and Kate continues "I don't think I was being... as honest as I think I should've been now." Gloomy asks "But how do I help you?" Kate responds "It's gonna hurt." Gloomy asks "Bad?" and Kate says "Not too bad... my tongue melts bodies into blood..."
Kate continues "I hear it's the least painful through the mouth because of all the saliva." Gloomy opens his mouth. Kate can be seen later with blood on her mouth. She thinks to herself "This guy is so weird, but I think I'll stick around her, because nobody else has ever been kind to me."
