Madeline turns around to see Lyra approaching her with a sword. Madeline full of angel energy says "Perfect." She touches Lyra's head with a spider leg before continuing "You came here to die didn't you? You tried before I hear. That's where you've been the past six years right?"

Lyra grabs Madelines leg and shoves it away as she says "No. I came to kill you. And every last one of these cultists." Madeline points a limb and two objects with masks of her face appear via angel energy.

Madeline absorbs hallicon from the two objects killing them. She says "Not necessary Lyra. See how loyal they are? Nothing like you." Caine watches from the door.

Madeline grabs Lyra and pins her to the wall. She screams. Her HUD reads 'Resisting hallicon drain'.

Amidst screaming Madeline says "So much resentment for what you know we had to do. Will you shut up? All we need is Myrellyth Fractals. And I need Myrellite to make them. Your brother and I have four. You've forgotten but you have one yourself..." Caine speaks up "Don't you remember Lyra? Once this is over we'll be in paradise! We'll have the power! Just like Mama always said. We just need to make a few more!" Lyra's heart beats loudly as she has an episode. An informational box tells the reader that Elythrium is the formal name for Angel Energy

Madeline says to Caine "Good boy. Go get me your sword." and he says "On it!" Madeline says "Get them." to Lyra as Madeline summons two swords. Madeline continues "You'll learn to serve me here or you'll die knowing the odds were in your favor."

Caine says "I got it! I'm back!-" Caine suddenly looks in fear as he sees Lyra with swords. He says to her "You don't have to do this." Lyra responds "It's not my choice anymore."

While Lyra is distracted Madeline slashes at Lyra's head. Lyra pants for a moment before falling to the ground. Madeline says "You're a broken machine. Come. Be decommissioned."

Madeline continues "Or join me and stay with your brother. For whom I know you care deeply." Lyra slowly rises. Caine says "Lyra... stay with me... please." Lyra replies "I told you. It isn't up to me."

Madeline continues "It's the only case in which you live so. Come be a sentinel again, Vantablack." Five objects can be seen, highlighted in different colors of the rainbow; a woodsorrel, a cat's toy, Anemone, a cake pop, and Balloon. The last object is entirely obscured by Madeline's speech. Madeline looks to Caine who walks behind her.

Madeline says "Stop being stupid. Come to your senses." Madeline reaches for Lyra's hand.

Madeline is thrown to the ground. Lyra is on the ground and mumbles "God. Fuck." Madeline continues "You! You fucking broken down HUSK! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?! There is no GOD but me!" Madeline lifts Lyra to her feet with angel energy, shoving her against a wall.

Fire rises and Lyra is bound by a chain of light. Madeline continues "You'd be NOTHING without me! You wouldn't exist! I was going to let you LIVE, machine! But you've EARNED this!"

$Caine with fractals now in his arm summons chains of light around Madeline and yells "Hey!" He approaches Lyra and she says "Stop..." Caine says "No I can't let either of you get hurt."$

Lyra says "Caine. I want this. I wanted this." He mutters "You... what?" She responds "I hope you turn someday. I only ever fought for you."

$Lyra continues "There's no one else in this world I'd rather be held by right now," Lyra puts a fractal in Caine's hand.$

Lyra continues "I'm going to die here. Someone has to put an end to all of this. Can I trust you? Do you understand... Caine."

Caine in tears says "She... she wants to help us... She'll listen to me... She... she loves-" Madeline pops Caine.

Madeline looks at Lyra and says "Die." As Madeline reaches for Lyra, she is suddenly warped away with angel energy. She is pulled towards Caine who is sitting in front of the respawning machine.

Later Caine says to Lyra "Why'd you... why'd you give it to me? I thought you wanted to..." Lyra now in a red and purple outfiit responds "That's not what I thought you were gonna do with it. But if I'm alive I'm going. Come find me when you realize what's really going on here." Caine replies "You don't understand she's... She loves me."

Caine mutters "She loves me" once more as Lyra now shrouded in darkness walks out of the room.

Myrellite / 'Astral Energy'
A mysterious crystal shaped energy that takes the shape of stars. If touched, it will give you a terrible illness. Further research is required.

Myrellyth Fractal
A small crystal alloy of Myrellite and Elythrium. The Elythrium is used to stabilize the Myrellite, allowing it to be safely handled. The crystals grant a certain power; only the person carrying the most crystals will have full control over this power. Further research is required.
